Text Box: Who we are: we’re a small group of people who believe in the old religions, usually referred to as pagans, and we practice their ways as we’re able. That includes the holidays, customs, magic, marriage and death customs, and healing. Some of us also celebrate modern traditions as well. We are a unique group of people, for there is an incredible variety of practice between members of those considered pagan. The one thing that unites us all is faith in the Goddess.

what we believe: basically, pagans believe that there is a goddess and a god, and it is through their union that the universe exists. Each culture gives these gods and goddesses a name, and modern pagans tend to use the name they feel most comfortable with. There are Celtic pagans, Norse pagans, Egyptian pagans, Greek pagans, and then we have Wicca and that which is not Wicca, such as Asatru, Druidry, and Native American Culture. All these type people are some type of pagan. There are many others, this list is not all inclusive for sure.

what we practice: we try to practice the magical lifestyle, as much as possible, of our ancient ancestors. The most important thing in our ancestors lives was their faith in nature, in the gods and goddesses of the earth. They were honored in all things people did on a daily basis. So, instead of giving up our modern technology, and trying to live like a cave man, we live our modern lives in attention to the gods and nature at all times, honoring the earth and sky, and so on. Our group, being mostly Celtic and Norse, will do a ritual for each of the Sabbats, and hold many other gatherings for other reasons. We study the herbs and ways they used to cook in those days, how they used to build their buildings, study the strange layouts of stars and lines and pyramids they left behind. We study the stories of the Gods and Goddesses of many cultures. Each of us has a particular interest of study, and we fine our differences complimentary.

Yes we teach: NOT YET AVAILABLE via email. Since each of us has a specialty, we each have different things we can teach. If you live in the area of our group you can study in person, but if not you can study with us through email, when available. If you are interested in this please contact us and we’ll see what we can do for you.

Why we are not a coven: there is an obvious reason for this. We are a group where everyone can practice their individual beliefs. We do not worship one pantheon. It is my understanding that many covens do that. So we call ourselves a grove, like the open meetings the Druids held, in open groves of trees outdoors where all were welcome. (There are always exceptions to every rule, however.)

The tumbleweed, as it rolls, spreads 70% of it’s seeds. My hope is Tumbleweed Grove spreads 70% of it’s knowledge to those whose lives we roll by!!!
